This Cookie Policy explains what cookies Consentio's own website (consentio.io, including the dashboard) sets when you visit or use it. It is published by Filova Ltd (company number 17263134, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom).

This document is about our own site's cookies. It is not about the cookies Consentio's consent-banner product helps our customers manage on their own websites — that product's role is described in our Privacy Policy (legal/privacy-policy.md) and Data Processing Agreement (legal/dpa.md).

1. Cookies We Don't Set

If you're browsing consentio.io as a visitor — reading the marketing pages, without logging in — our own code sets no cookies. Your language and theme preferences are stored in your browser's localStorage, not a cookie. We do not run any analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts on this site — verified directly against our own source code, not merely asserted.

Once you log in to the Consentio dashboard, our authentication provider (Supabase) sets a strictly-necessary session cookie so you stay logged in between page loads. This cookie:

  • is set only after you sign in, never for an anonymous visitor;
  • is only used on the dashboard's protected pages (e.g. /dashboard, /cookies, /consent-log, /settings);
  • is never present at all if you're using Consentio in demo mode (no Supabase connected);
  • contains no advertising or tracking data — it exists solely to keep you signed in.

3. Changes to this Policy

If our own site's cookie usage ever changes (for example, if we add product analytics in the future), we will update this page and, for material changes, notify account holders by email.
